Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy evaluations and one-on-one treatment to outpatient clients
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans focused on meaningful functional outcomes
- Perform manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education to maximize recovery
- Document patient progress accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure continuity
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in Maryland or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
- Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload in an outpatient setting
- Professional, reliable, and able to maintain documentation standards
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master's degree in Physical Therapy considered
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Experience with manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise progression
- Comfortable with outpatient orthopedic conditions and post-operative rehabilitation
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic documentation workflows
- Good time management, prioritization, and patient education skills
