Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the inpatient unit
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in the EHR clearly
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
• Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact privilege
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS preferred depending on unit
• Recent inpatient nursing experience preferred (1+ year recommended)
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to pass background check and any required pre-employment screenings

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
• Medication administration and IV therapy skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Patient education and discharge planning experience
