Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care consistent with LPN scope
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
- Perform focused assessments and communicate changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate, timely charting in the electronic medical record
- Support patient education and discharge planning with clarity and empathy
- Help maintain a safe, clean clinical environment and adhere to infection control
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in Maryland (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
- Previous LPN clinical experience preferred; new grads considered with strong references
- Current immunizations and ability to complete facility onboarding checks
- Comfortable working night/evening shifts and collaborating in a team environment
Education
- Vocational/Technical Nursing diploma or equivalent LPN training program completion
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic clinical procedures
- Patient assessment and documentation best practices
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
- Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical setting and stay calm under pressure
