Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition to the nursing team promptly
• Provide safe mobility assistance and fall prevention support to keep residents secure
• Document care accurately and clearly in the resident chart to support continuity of care
• Work collaboratively with nurses and other care team members to deliver person-centered care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in New Mexico (required)
• CPR/BLS certification (preferred or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Comfortable working night/NOC shifts and providing hands-on resident care
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset

Education

• High school diploma or GED required; current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient-centered care and assisting with activities of daily living
• Basic vital signs measurement and observation skills
• Infection control and safe body mechanics
• Clear, concise documentation and charting
• Effective communication and teamwork in a clinical setting
• Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
