Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and develop thoughtful, individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient progress and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team to coordinate treatments
• Educate patients and families so they feel confident about recovery and discharge
• Document care clearly in the patient record to ensure continuity and quality
• Advocate for patient needs and help improve unit-level processes

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact RN eligible)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred
• 1+ year of acute care or inpatient experience preferred; new graduates considered with strong clinical skills
• Current immunizations and required health screenings per facility policy
• Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment
• Medication administration and intravenous (IV) therapy skills
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems (EHR)
• Ability to prioritize and manage a busy patient assignment
• Comfort working in a fast-paced hospital environment
