Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients during overnight shifts
• Perform assessments, administer medications and treatments safely and according to plan
• Document patient status, interventions and responses clearly and promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent patient care
• Respond quickly and calmly to changes in patient condition and escalate when needed
• Educate patients and families with clarity and kindness to support recovery and discharge

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in good standing (appropriate state license required)
• Clinical experience in a nursing role preferred; travel or acute care experience is a plus
• Current Basic Life Support certification preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently on night shifts
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing or registered nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Comfort with electronic medical records and clear documentation
• Ability to prioritize and triage during busy overnight hours
• Team-oriented approach and strong interpersonal skills with patients and staff
• Familiarity with infection control practices and safety protocols
