Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate GE and Siemens MRI scanners to perform high-quality diagnostic exams, including breast MRI
• Prepare patients for MRI exams with clear communication and compassionate care
• Position patients accurately and utilize appropriate protocols to ensure diagnostic image quality
• Ensure MRI safety standards are met for all patients and staff, including screening for contraindications
• Document procedures and findings accurately in the EMR (Meditech) and maintain thorough records
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support efficient patient flow
• Maintain and troubleshoot basic scanner issues and report equipment concerns promptly

Qualifications

• ARRT (MRI) certification required
• Experience performing Breast MRI (explicit must-have in the role)
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience (as listed in the posting)
• Comfortable working day shift hours (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred
• Experience with GE and Siemens MRI systems preferred
• Strong patient communication skills and commitment to safety

Education

• ARRT (MRI) certification (required)
• Completion of an accredited MRI technologist program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven expertise in breast MRI protocols and general MRI exams
• Hands-on experience with GE and Siemens MRI platforms
• Proficiency using Meditech for documentation and workflow
• Excellent patient positioning and image optimization techniques
• Knowledge of MRI safety practices, including screening and implanted device considerations
• Good troubleshooting skills for scanner and workflow interruptions
