Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (variable days), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in the rehabilitation center
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
Perform routine assessments and report changes in patient condition promptly
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and follow care plans
Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges with professionalism
Support residents' daily living activities while promoting independence and dignity

Qualifications

Valid LPN or RN license (eligible to practice in New Mexico)
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
Previous experience in rehabilitation, long-term care, or acute care is a plus
Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work per diem shifts, including longer day shifts

Education

LPN: Vocational nursing diploma or equivalent
RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
Medication administration and documentation
Care planning and interdisciplinary collaboration
Wound care basics and infection control practices
Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
