Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols
Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care instructions
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

Current Dental Assistant certification or registration as required by Maryland state regulations
Experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not required
Ability to work flexible per diem shifts
Positive attitude and strong communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and infection control
Proficiency in taking and processing dental radiographs
Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
Basic computer skills for electronic health records
