Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to ensure optimal outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, reporting changes or concerns promptly
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to hospital policies and protocols
• Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures
• Offer emotional support and advocate for patients' rights, ensuring compassionate and respectful care
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe and ethical work environment
• Stay updated on medical advancements and best practices through ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of ER experience required (new grads not accepted at this time)
• ACLS Certification required
• Rhythm Recognition or Basic Arrhythmia experience required
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by New Hampshire Board of Nursing required
• PALS Certification highly preferred
• CEN and TNCC Certification highly preferred

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Associate's or better, Bachelor's preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in nursing and patient care
• Proficient in medication administration and documentation
• Strong ER experience and acute care skills
• ACLS and Rhythm Recognition proficiency
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
• Patient education and advocacy skills
