Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable shifts, department coverage needed, may include days, evenings, nights, and weekends

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians
Ensure proper patient positioning and comfort during procedures
Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment according to protocols
Document and report examination results accurately
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team for optimal patient care
Adhere to infection control and safety standards

Qualifications

Current BLS certification from AHA
DCI/BVP certification as required
Valid state license to practice as an Ultrasound Tech
Completion of Prime Core Competencies and Skills Checklist
Must pass Prime Specialty Exam and Drug Screening
Up-to-date immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB test, and Varicella

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in various ultrasound techniques and imaging modalities
Strong patient care and communication skills
Knowledge of anatomy and pathology related to ultrasound
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with electronic health records and imaging systems
