Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
Monitor and assess patient conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Administer medications, perform procedures, and operate advanced medical equipment
Educate and support patients and their families during challenging times
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Current RN license in Iowa or compact state
Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience preferred
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and rotating weekends/holidays
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in critical care nursing, including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Excellent assessment and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
