Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive status
• Implement individualized care plans in a knowledgeable and consistent manner
• Provide patient and family education tailored to learning needs and readiness
• Document accurately in electronic medical records and paper processes
• Delegate patient care activities effectively and supervise assigned coworkers
• Demonstrate critical thinking and priority setting in a fast-paced environment
• Function as Charge Nurse when needed, coordinating patient assignments and staff coverage
• Maintain professional growth through ongoing education and training

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Current Washington State RN Licensure
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification within 30 days of hire
• Minimum one year of acute care RN experience preferred
• NRP, ACLS, STABLE, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications required for Mother Baby Unit
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
