Shift Type: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, rotating days

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care on a 24-bed Med Surg unit with a neuro/ortho specialty
Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 to ensure quality attention
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage post-surgical recovery
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Respond to emergencies and changes in patient condition with confidence

Qualifications

At least 1 year of recent Med Surg experience
Active Oklahoma RN license (compact accepted)
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Ortho or neuro experience preferred but not required
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Med Surg nursing, including post-op care and wound management
Comfortable with neuro assessments and orthopedic protocols
Able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Skilled in patient education and family support
Experience with electronic medical records
