Shift Type: Various 12-hour evening and night shifts, 72-80 hours per 2 weeks

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide primary care to ER and ICU patients, ensuring high-quality emergency and critical care nursing
Float to other nursing units as needed to assist with patient care, transport, and monitoring
Serve as a member of the rapid response and code blue team, responding to emergencies
Monitor telemetry readings and identify changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Hawaii
Minimum 2 years of recent ER and ICU experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Ability to float between critical care units and provide support as needed
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency nursing and critical care principles
Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Rapid response and code blue procedures
Patient assessment and prioritization
EMR proficiency (Point Click)
