Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes conditions
Monitor continuous EEG and titrate critical drips like Cardizem and beta blockers
Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to ensure safe patient ratios of 1:4-5
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed
Participate in orientation and pass an open-book exam on unit skills

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 2 years of PCU or stepdown experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA preferred)
Valid driver's license for verification of residence outside 50-mile radius
Positive attitude, strong communication, and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EPIC charting system
Experience with titratable drip medications (Cardizem, beta blockers, seizure meds)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills
