IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology)

Location: Stockton, California

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts; on-call rotation: 1 week night per week + 1 weekend every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in the Cath Lab and IR suites
Operate advanced imaging equipment including Siemens/Phillips systems and Merge Hemo
Assist with coronary interventions, balloon pumps, Impella, IABP, and peripheral procedures
Provide critical care support during STEMI cases and other emergencies
Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and respiratory therapists in a team environment
Maintain a sterile field and ensure patient safety throughout procedures

Qualifications

Hold ARRT certification with fluoroscopy endorsement
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of IR/Cath Lab experience
Experience with coronary interventions, balloon pumps, and Impella
Ability to respond to on-call within 30 minutes
Comfortable working with critically ill patients

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR system
Familiarity with Merge Hemo hemodynamic system
Experience with Siemens/Phillips imaging equipment preferred
Strong understanding of peripheral and coronary circulation
Skilled in using laser, rotablator, IVUS, FFR, and angiojet devices
