Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of ultrasound exams including OB, gynecology, abdominal, breast, soft tissue, thyroid, scrotum, and vascular studies
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during exams, providing compassionate care
• Maintain a clean and organized department, stocking rooms and checking for outdates
• Assist with interventional procedures such as ultrasound-guided breast biopsies and FNA
• Use advanced equipment like Philips Epiq 5 and Epiq Elite to capture high-quality images
• Collaborate with a supportive team to keep patient flow smooth and efficient

Qualifications

• Hold an active BLS certification and RDMS credential (required)
• ND state license in hand or willing to obtain
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a sonographer comfortable with non-echo and vascular studies
• Preferred: RDMS(OB/GYN), RDMS(AB), or RVT certification
• Ability to work variable second shifts and occasional weekend call

Knowledge & Skills

• Compassionate care and attention to detail in every patient interaction
• Proficiency in quality imaging techniques and computer technology
• Experience with Philips Epiq 5, Epiq Elite, and Mindray ultrasound systems
• Comfortable using McKesson, CRTIS, and Meditech for documentation and PACS
