Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and scope reprocessing of surgical instruments
• Ensure all instruments and equipment meet highest sterility standards for operating room use
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, including the da Vinci robot
• Collaborate with surgical teams to support smooth workflow in the OR and GI departments
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines at all times

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician
• Active CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) via HSPA required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in weekend/holiday call rotation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to sterile processing standards

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and scope reprocessing
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• Knowledge of GI, ortho, general, and gyn surgical instrument sets
• Ability to troubleshoot sterilization equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
