Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to telemetry and med-surg patients across multiple units
Titrate cardiac drips and interpret EKGs with confidence
Float between Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert campuses as needed
Collaborate with charge nurses and clinical supervisors to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Monitor dysrhythmias and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
Participate in orientation and simulation labs to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona (or compact state)
Minimum 2 years of telemetry or med-surg experience
Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to contract signing (2 attempts max)
Ability to titrate cardiac drips (e.g., Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin)
Willingness to float between units and campuses

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia monitoring
Experience with Cerner charting system
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable with high-acuity patient populations
