Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 2:45 PM - 3:15 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert emergency nursing care in a Level III Trauma Center with 21 ED beds
Triage patients and manage holds in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate with 24/7 ED physicians, PAs, and charge nurses
Handle a diverse patient mix including trauma, psych, and general medical emergencies
Use Meditech EMR to document and coordinate care efficiently
Work alongside dedicated ED techs and respiratory therapists

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Nursing experience required
Active RN license (compact or willing to obtain; emergency license available)
Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications (PALS or ENPC preferred)
Ability to thrive in a 4:1 patient ratio environment
Comfortable with telemetry monitoring and reading strips

Knowledge & Skills

Strong trauma and emergency triage skills
Proficiency with Meditech EMR
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-acuity setting
