Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Variable 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with required call coverage (one day per month, sometimes two)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care in interventional radiology procedures
Administer moderate sedation and monitor patient response
Collaborate with radiologists and anesthesia team for optimal patient outcomes
Manage central lines, pick lines, and other invasive devices
Assist with CT scans, interventional medicine, and emergent cases
Adapt to a fast-paced environment similar to a Cath Lab
Take on-call responsibility one to two days per month

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas
ACLS, BLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of critical care (ICU/ER) or radiology nursing experience
Ability to take call and work flexible hours

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EPIC charting system
Skilled in moderate sedation and central line management
Strong critical thinking and adaptability in procedural settings
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
