Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide stable leadership and daily operational management for both acute care hospital and retail pharmacy operations
• Assume full legal and operational responsibility as Pharmacist-in-Charge, ensuring compliance with Montana Board of Pharmacy, CMS, and DNV standards
• Oversee pharmacy personnel including scheduling, performance management, and mentorship of clinical staff
• Manage pharmacy operational and capital budgets, monitor drug spend, and collaborate with P&T Committee
• Lead the implementation and configuration of new 340B TPA software, including EHR data feeds, split-billing, and NDC mapping
• Direct the expansion of ambulatory infusion services, including cleanroom design oversight and workflow optimization

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Pharmacist License in Montana (or eligibility for immediate reciprocity) required
• Minimum of 5 years of hospital pharmacy leadership experience at Director or Assistant Director level in acute care
• Proven experience managing a 340B program, including at least one full TPA software conversion/implementation
• Direct experience overseeing sterile compounding infusion center expansion and regulatory compliance
• BLS/BCLS certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations management and regulatory compliance
• Financial management and formulary stewardship skills
• Expertise in 340B program management, contract pharmacy, and audit readiness
• Proficiency with sterile compounding standards (USP <795>, <797>, <800>)
• Familiarity with TPA software implementation and EHR data interfaces
• Revenue cycle coordination and medical billing code alignment
