Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Start Date: 08-10-2026

End Date: 11-09-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 5 eight-hour shifts per week, including every Sunday rotation; typically 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with acute conditions including neuro, cardiovascular, and polytrauma
Develop individualized treatment plans to restore function and independence
Implement therapeutic interventions in acute care, ortho, trauma, general med/surg, and intermediate care units
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Document patient progress and adjust treatment as needed

Qualifications

2+ years of acute care experience as an Occupational Therapist
Active Colorado OT license
BLS certification (AHA required)
Proficiency with EPIC charting system
Willingness to work a 13-week contract with weekend rotation

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in neuro, cardiovascular, and polytrauma rehabilitation
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt to fast-paced acute care environment
