Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Days, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, on-call rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans on patients as ordered by physicians
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
Administer contrast media as needed and monitor patients for adverse reactions
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to optimize image quality
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in the Cerner system
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards
Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 coverage for emergency cases

Qualifications

2+ years of recent CT experience in an acute care setting
Active ARRT (R)(CT) certification and California CRT license
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Fluoroscopy permit required
Experience with Cerner charting system preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in CT imaging techniques and anatomy
Knowledge of contrast administration and emergency response
Strong patient communication and bedside manner
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Team player with willingness to float and cross-train
