Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 12-hour shifts, schedule varies per 4-week cycle, with weekend and holiday requirements

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a Level II maternity unit
Interpret EFM tracings and manage patients on Magnesium Sulfate and Pitocin
Perform sterile techniques for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Collaborate with OB technologists, neonatologists, and respiratory therapists
Titrate drips as needed and respond to emergent situations
Document patient care in Cerner PowerChart Maternity EHR

Qualifications

Current RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS certification from AHA required
Current EFM certification (AWHONN preferred, others accepted)
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Must pass sterile technique test on first day of orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EFM interpretation and SVE skills
Experienced in IV starts and managing Magnesium Sulfate
Comfortable with Cerner PowerChart Maternity
Knowledge of sterile technique for Foley and central line care
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
