CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Location: Bryan, TX

Start Date: 08-10-2026

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 7 days on/7 days off, plus call rotation every 6th week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform CT scans with and without contrast for emergency and inpatient patients
Start IVs and administer contrast as needed
Operate 3 GE scanners (16-slice and 64-slice) in a fast-paced acute care setting
Collaborate with radiologists and ER physicians to ensure high-quality imaging
Precept new staff when needed and maintain a safe, sterile environment
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses as required

Qualifications

Must hold a current BLS certification, ARRT (CT) certification, and Texas MRT license
At least 2 years of CT technologist experience in an ER and inpatient setting
Proven ability to start IVs and administer contrast safely
Comfortable with on-call duties and flexible schedule
No direct employment with CommonSpirit facilities within the past year

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in MEDITECH EMR and Fuji PACS systems
Skilled in operating GE CT scanners (16-slice and 64-slice)
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
