Shift Type: Day shift, 36 hours per week after orientation; various shift lengths and days (flexible required)

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality med-surg nursing care to patients 18 and older
Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and manage wound vacuums and chest tubes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to surgical peds or transitional care units as needed
Utilize Meditech EMR and Pyxis for documentation and medication management
Uphold professional nursing attire and safety standards

Qualifications

2+ years of med-surg or higher level of care experience required
Active Hawaii RN license (or must obtain upon acceptance; must have by start date)
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Ability to work various shifts and adapt to changing unit needs
Comfortable with Meditech EMR and standard hospital equipment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficient in wound vac, chest tube, and IV therapy management
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Time management and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
