Location: Elkins, West Virginia

Start Date: 07-20-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: AP shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; rotating schedule: 2 days one week, 4 days the next

Hours per Week: 24

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
Engage residents in activities and social interactions to promote well-being
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for all
Collaborate with the care team to deliver personalized care plans

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in West Virginia (or compact state)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Experience with Point-Click-Care (EMR) is required
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Must be able to travel and live away from home for the assignment duration

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient care, vital signs, and infection control
Great communication and teamwork abilities
Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Physical stamina to be on your feet and assist with lifting
