Location: Elkins, West Virginia

Start Date: 07-20-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; two-week rotation: 2 days one week, 4 days the next

Hours per Week: 24

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety
Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Maintain a clean, organized environment and adhere to infection control protocols
Document care provided accurately using Point-Click-Care
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver individualized care plans

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in West Virginia (or compact state)
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Compassionate and reliable with a positive attitude
Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (traveler requirement)

Knowledge & Skills

Experience with Point-Click-Care electronic health records required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
