Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts with 30-minute meal break; 36-hour guarantee per week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $14 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident safety
Support residents with meals and hydration, ensuring nutritional needs are met
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents
Collaborate with the care team to deliver individualized care plans

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in West Virginia
Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout shift
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude toward residents
Previous long-term care experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication skills to interact with residents, families, and team members
Attention to detail in documenting care and observations
Infection control and safety protocols
Teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment
Time management to prioritize resident needs effectively
