Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours guaranteed per week. Weekend requirement: 6 nights in 6 weeks.

Hours per Week: 60

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide immediate, life-saving care to patients in the emergency room
Assess and triage patients to determine severity of conditions
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to deliver rapid treatment
Monitor patient status and respond to changes with quick intervention
Document patient histories, symptoms, and treatments accurately
Educate patients and families on post-emergency care and follow-up

Qualifications

At least 2 years of ER experience (required)
Recent traveler experience (preferred)
Active Oklahoma RN license or compact license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH certifications (AHA required)
TNCC certification (preferred)
Ability to work night shifts including weekends

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in emergency nursing and trauma care
Proficiency in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH protocols
Strong critical thinking and triage skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
