Roles & Responsibilities

Perform quality laboratory testing in chemistry, microbiology, hematology, blood bank, and serology
Accurately examine and analyze test results to aid in diagnosis and treatment
Maintain proficiency in venous phlebotomy procedures
Ensure routine operation and maintenance of lab equipment and instrumentation
Monitor quality control procedures to guarantee reliable results

Qualifications

Current California Clinical Laboratory Technologist License required
American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) registration required
Bachelor's degree in a related field and graduate of an accredited School of Medical Technology
Minimum 1 year of Clinical Laboratory Science experience preferred
Detail-oriented with high standards of quality

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field and graduate of an accredited School of Medical Technology

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in clinical laboratory testing including microbiology, hematology, blood bank, and serology
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Phlebotomy skills preferred
