Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for preschool students with special needs
Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment that fosters growth and learning
Collaborate with parents, therapists, and school staff to ensure each child reaches their full potential
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed

Qualifications

Valid Washington State teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement
Preschool special education certification required
Experience working with children with developmental delays or disabilities
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passion for making a difference in young lives

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of special education laws and best practices
Ability to create and implement IEPs
Strong classroom management and behavior support skills
Familiarity with developmental preschool curriculum
Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration abilities
