Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Tuesday and Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Hours per Week: 20

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide therapeutic services to clients in a correctional mental health setting
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
Document client progress and maintain accurate clinical records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support client recovery
Apply evidence-based interventions to address cognitive, emotional, and behavioral challenges

Qualifications

Active California LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license required
Experience in mental health assessment and treatment
Comfortable working in a correctional environment
Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in clinical assessment and diagnosis using DSM criteria
Knowledge of cognitive-behavioral therapy and other therapeutic modalities
Skilled in risk assessment and crisis intervention
Familiarity with electronic health records and charting
Cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse populations
