Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Monitor and assess patient condition, document progress
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on health management
• Utilize EMR system (Meditech) and equipment like Pyxis, wound vac, chest tubes

Qualifications

• Active Hawaii RN license (or willingness to obtain upon offer)
• 2-10 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to float to other units as needed
• Flexibility for night shifts and varying schedules

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Meditech EMR
• Experience with Pyxis medication dispensing
• Wound care and chest tube management
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork
