Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to provide holistic patient care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques and policies
Document according to standards of care
Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans
Participate in department performance improvement activities
Use clinical expertise to guide other units in support of patient care
Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and enhance patient experience

Qualifications

Current Wisconsin RN License
BLS certification (CPR)
NIHSS certification
Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting

Knowledge & Skills

Strong nursing process knowledge
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Patient safety and quality focus
Ability to float to other units as needed
