Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (nights)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional nursing care to medical-surgical patients during weekend night shifts
Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and coordinate with the care team
Provide patient education and support to families
Respond quickly to changes in patient conditions and escalate as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols

Qualifications

Active RN license in Iowa or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
At least 1–2 years of recent Med/Surg experience preferred
Ability to work weekend nights consistently

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfort with electronic health records and hospital systems
Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
