Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holidays

Hours per Week: 60

Roles & Responsibilities

Regularly assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician-authorized plan of care.
Deliver direct patient care including medication administration, treatments, patient education, call light response, assisting with transfers, and responding to alarms.
Evaluate effectiveness of treatment plans and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update and improve patient care.
Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations and hospital policies to ensure safe and high-quality care.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent nursing experience
Experience in Neuro PCU or similar critical care units
Active Michigan RN license (or Compact license with Michigan eligibility)
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
Current NIHSS certification
Travel nursing experience is highly preferred
