Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Days, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week; on-call required: 12 days per month including 4 weekend days (Friday-Saturday-Sunday)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $88 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab during diagnostic and interventional procedures
Assist physicians with cardiac procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, and pacemaker insertion
Monitor patients' vital signs and hemodynamic status during procedures
Administer medications and sedation as ordered
Educate patients and families about procedures and post-procedure care
Maintain sterile field and ensure safety protocols are followed
Respond to emergencies and code situations in the cath lab

Qualifications

Active RN license in California
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1-2 years of recent Cath Lab experience preferred
DCI/BVP certification preferred
Ability to work 10-hour shifts and be on call 12 days per month including weekends
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
