Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 10-hour shifts, Variable start time, Day shifts

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures
Assist physicians with endoscopy procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures for optimal outcomes
Administer medications and sedation as prescribed
Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and follow-up
Maintain accurate electronic health records using EPIC EMR

Qualifications

Active California RN license required
Minimum 1 year of GI or Endoscopy nursing experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
EPIC EMR experience preferred
CGRN certification is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of gastrointestinal nursing procedures
Excellent patient assessment and monitoring skills
Proficient in medication administration and sedation
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Effective communication and patient education skills
