Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Collaborate with physical therapists to implement tailored treatment plans for patients in an outpatient brain injury setting
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, and function
Document patient progress and adjust interventions as needed to achieve goals
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Contribute to a supportive team environment focused on exceptional patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Maine or compact eligibility
Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Previous outpatient or brain injury experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of rehabilitation techniques and therapeutic modalities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and team members
Ability to adapt treatment plans to individual patient needs
Proficient in documentation and electronic health records
