Location: Great Falls, Montana

Start Date: 07-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week (rotating weekends and holidays)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide care to hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients on the medical/surgical unit
Operate advanced medical equipment including central lines, chest tubes, and ventilatory support
Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery
Act as a clinical leader and assist with precepting staff
Provide direct care for patients from admission to discharge including discharge planning
Manage common IV medications such as Heparin, Diltiazem, and Amiodarone

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in Progressive Care or Step Down
Current Montana RN Licensure
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
EPNC and TNCC certifications preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in basic office equipment and multiple IV pump management
Ability to operate advanced medical equipment and invasive lines
Skilled in cardiac telemetry and EKG interpretation
Knowledge of medication management for common IV drips
