Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating days including weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process in the Emergency Psych Services department
Develop and update individualized, interdisciplinary plans of care tailored to each patient's needs
Evaluate patient outcomes and identify available resources to support recovery
Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver compassionate mental health care
Manage stress effectively and make critical decisions under pressure

Qualifications

Valid State of Maine RN license - must be currently active
BLS Certification and CPI training (current prior to start)
At least 1 year of previous experience in mental health nursing
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work night shifts and provide coverage 24/7 as needed

Education

2-Year Associate's degree required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong team player with excellent communication abilities
Skill in managing stress and making decisions under pressure
Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and unit demands
Proficiency with electronic medical records (Point Click)
