Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients
- Assess oral health conditions and educate patients on proper hygiene
- Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
- Assist dentist during procedures by preparing instruments and materials
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with infection control protocols
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient experiences
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
- Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in dental software and patient management systems
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques and OSHA standards
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to educate and motivate patients toward better oral health
