Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, Monday - Friday, with one weekend per 4-week schedule

Hours per Week: 32

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments
Manage case cart preparation and distribution
Ensure compliance with infection control standards
Work independently with minimal orientation in a fast-paced trauma center
Collaborate with surgical teams to maintain sterile field integrity

Qualifications

Active CBSPB or HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM) certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience in sterile processing
Previous experience in a trauma center environment preferred
Willingness to work occasional weekends and overtime
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Knowledge & Skills

Strong decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and case cart skills
Proven ability to work independently with minimal orientation
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and needs
