Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Start Date: 08-04-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 1900-0730 (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), including weekend rotation and 1 call shift per 2-week period; may float to Med/Surg as needed.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized CVICU and CCU nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients
Collaborate with a dedicated team in a community-focused hospital
Float to Acute Care/Med Surg unit as needed to support staffing
Participate in on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage
Contribute to keeping community members in their hometown for care

Qualifications

Active Colorado RN license in good standing
Minimum 3 years of critical care experience
Strong CVICU skills with day 0 CVICU experience
BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA
Willingness to float to Med/Surg and take call shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) and Critical Care (CCU) nursing skills
Advanced cardiac life support
Ability to work nights and weekends
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Team collaboration and adaptability
