Location: Orono, ME

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 09-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts, days as scheduled)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate and comprehensive patient care in a long-term care setting
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to the healthcare team
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Document all care accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning

Qualifications

Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Maine
Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Completion of COVID-19 vaccine or approved exemption
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices
Time management and organizational skills
Flexibility and willingness to work in a fast-paced setting
