Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week, rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all acuity levels
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to create treatment plans
Monitor and assess patient conditions, initiate interventions, and document progress
Perform trauma assessments, IV insertion, medication administration, and wound care
Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
Maintain a calm, efficient environment in a fast-paced Emergency Department

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience
Proficiency in Epic electronic health record system
Must live 75+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel assignment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong triage and prioritization skills
Expertise in trauma and emergency care protocols
Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team
Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
Comfortable with high-stress situations and rapid decision-making
