Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in the Cardiovascular Lab
Assess and address psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care in the surgical environment
Communicate continuously with physicians regarding patient condition and needs
Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Maintain equipment and inventory, ensuring procedure room readiness
Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Active Registered Nursing (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
Minimum of one year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Ability to work day shifts and adapt to a fast-paced procedural environment

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiovascular lab procedures and monitoring
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in equipment maintenance and inventory management
Knowledge of quality improvement processes
Competency in direct patient care and hemodynamic monitoring
